If you do happen to need to say a non english word or just don't want to be corrected all you have to do is type one letter and touch the suggested word (the letter you just typed) and then continue typing. Software other - better than default because I like being able to long press keys and get numbers, punctuation, etc. Strangely predictive text was more useful on the soft keyboard.
